As you may have heard or read, the practice of transracial adoption has been the subject of a great deal of controversy. However, many children have and will continue to be transracially adopted. Despite the continued practice of transracial adoption and the criticisms of those who oppose transracial adoption placements, many professionals in the field including myself, believe that we must continue to study transracial adoptees so that we will be able to learn what factors will enhance the experiences, lives, and adjustment of transracial adoptees. This can only be done if we have your help. To help, read on.

You don't have to be a transracial adoptee to be able to help with this study. If you know someone who meets the eligibility requirements for the study, then you can tell them about this study and this web page.

You can recommend someone else (if he/she fits the participation requirements and they agree to participate) by selecting "Contact" from the menu.
